SMITHVILLE FARMERS MARKET

A great place to spend your Sunday with family and friends. At the Smithville Farmers Market you’ll find live music every week, a variety of unique local vendors, offering locally grown fresh produce, meats, handmade goods, and so much more!

Smithville is known for its historic film worthy downtown, “perhaps best known as the home of “Hope Floats,” the 1998 movie starring Sandra Bullock, Harry Connick Jr., and Gena Rowlands. It was also the location for “Tree of Life,” starring Brad Pitt, Jessica Chastain and Sean Penn, filmed in 2008.”

Not to mention the most recent film “The Long Game”, starring Jay Hernandez, Cheech Marín, Oscar Núñez, Jaina Lee Ortiz, and Dennis Quad, filmed in 2023 and currently in theaters.

Residents of Smithville, you can find us here every Sunday! Our booth is pleasantly located just behind the gazebo. It’s our favorite spot to hear the amazing local musicians and overlook the market.

EDEN EAST FARMSTAND

Eden East Farm is a sustainable urban farm formerly in East Austin, now in Historical Bastrop.”

Twice a week Farmer David & Chef Sonya, open their doors for the community to shop fresh produce straight from their urban backyard farm. At their farmstand you’ll be happy to find seasonal veggies, local meats, eggs, cheeses, mushrooms, and more! After or before you shop, be sure to take a stroll through their beautiful garden and see exactly where your food is coming from!

You can find us set up there, some Wednesdays and almost every Saturday.

BASTROP FARMERS MARKET

“The Bastrop 1832 Farmers Market is a project of the Bastrop Sustainable Agricultural Community (BSAC), a nonprofit 501c3 corporation and was established in 2008.”

A great place to spend your Saturday with family and friends. At the Bastrop Farmers Market you’ll find live music, a variety of unique local vendors, offering locally grown fresh produce, meats, handmade goods, homemade dog treats, puzzle swaps and so much more!

You can find us here every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month!

Store House Market & Eatery is “a true farm to table experience featuring Chef Sonya Cote.”

Apart from their urban backyard farm, Eden East, Chef Sonya and Farmer David own and operate a farm to table restaurant just a short mile away. Where much of their homegrown produce supplies their restaurant. They believe in offering locally sourced products to serve the community with the freshest ingredients.

We are honored to be set up there, every 1st Saturday of the month.
